ATTORNEY REFERRAL

Mr. Kaeiser is available for consultation concerning appellate issues, as well as participation in appellate proceedings. Many trial attorneys prefer not to follow a criminal case through to the appellate or post-conviction stages and would prefer to refer the case out to another attorney. Mr. Kaeiser accepts such referrals and will work with trial attorneys on either a straight referral or joint participation basis. In these situations, Mr. Kaeiser is willing to entertain fee-sharing arrangements, as stipulated by the Florida Bar Rules.

Over the years, many trial attorneys have engaged Mr. Kaeiser to assist in appellate proceedings or have referred such cases to him. United States v. Levy, 545 U.S. 1101 (2005); United States v. Ben Johnson, 432 F.3d 1189 (11th Cir. 2006); United States v. Machado, 333 F.3d 1225 (11th Cir. 2003); United States v. Beasley, 72 F.3d 1518 (11th Cir. 1996); McDonald v. State, 957 So. 2d 605 (Fla. 2007); and State v. Magner, 956 P.2d 519 (Ariz. App. Div. 1 1998) are just a few of the cases in which he has successfully assisted trial attorneys. Mr. Kaeiser has also prepared motions and memorandums of law for other attorneys.
